Used as an analytical reagent and also in the pharmaceutical industry
It is widely use in many fields like the following:
Antipyretic analgesic, used for fever, headache, arthralgia, neuralgia, dysmenorrhea and active rheumatism.
Aminopyrine belongs to pyrazolone class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, with strong antipyretic analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic action.
However, the adverse reactions are serious, such as granulocytosis, aplastic anemia, etc.
Therefore, its application in clinical practice has been gradually reduced and gradually phased out.
Aminopyrine can also be used as an analytical reagent for the determination of antimony, bismuth, bromine, cadmium, chlorine, cobalt, ketone, cyanide, gold, ferridate acid, lead, nickel, nitric acid, nitrite, osmium, nitrogen oxides, palladium, platinum, silver and zinc.
