Ethylene glycol butyl ether acetate is a kind of high boiling point and multi-functional binary alcohol ether ester solvent. It can be used as an assistant coalestizer of latex paint. It has excellent solubility to a variety of paints, which makes it widely used in colorful coatings and emulsion coatings.
Diethylene glycol butyl ether acetate has a very high boiling point, mainly used for high temperature porcelain and printing ink of high boiling point solvent, also used as emulsion paint to help the cohesion agent;
Because the solvent volatilization rate is very slow, low solubility in water, so it can be used as the solvent of screen printing ink, and the solvent of printing glaze of polystyrene coating;
It can also be used as an azeotrope for the separation of alcohols and ketones.
